Fact : The greatest 150 feet monument in Bangladesh that represents the country's martyrs in national memorial at Savar. It was built to honor nad remember for those who died in 1971 at liberation war and genocide which resulted a free country named Bangladesh. It was designed by Syed Mainul Islam and constructed by Concord group that located 35 km north west of Dhaka at Savar. The architecture is composed of seven pairs of triangular shaped walls or prisms that symbolise seven historical terms of Bangladesh.  My thoughts: I think the monument presents emotions and deep feelings which is related to our existence as an independent country in the world. This architectural beauty is complexed with wide area including mosque, library and some graveyards. We offer floral wreaths and bow down our heads in front of these graves with homage to recall the offsprings who sacrificed themselves to make this nation free and gave an open sovereign land for us.
