Introduction to Al-Quran: Part-1

  Al-Quran is the best literary book in the world with 114 suras in 30 verses. Other names are Al Furqan, Al Hikma, Ash Shifa, Burhan and An Nur. This book was revealed on the night of the 27th of Ramadan at the age of 40 by the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) in a cave called Mina through Gabriel (peace be upon him). During the time of the Prophet (peace be upon him) 42 Companions used to write down the Qur'an as soon as they heard it. In particular, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) gave this responsibility to Hazrat Zayd ibn Thabit. Later, during the time of Hazrat Abu Bakr (ra) he compiled Hazrat Zayd (ra).Hazrat Omar (r) and Hazrat Osman (r) distributed this quran in theeir rulling time within the whole world.
